The Georgia Historical Records Advisory Council (GHRAC) established the Outstanding Archives Awards Program in 2003 to recognize outstanding efforts in archives and records work in Georgia. By publicly recognizing excellent achievements, the Board strives to inspire others.
All of the following are eligible for an award. (You may nominate your own organization.)
NOTE: Nominations by vendors are not accepted.
NOTE: Student nominations that are either self-nominated or nominated by a family member must be accompanied by a letter of support from a teacher, adviser, professor, or appropriate organization such as the Georgia Humanities Council.
Nomination Form The Nomination Forms, Project Description, and a copy of nominee’s work can be e-mailed to Christopher.Davidson@usg.edu. If a copy of the work cannot be sent by e-mail or is over 50 pages, then submit seven copies of the nominee’s work to GHRAC, care of Christopher Davidson, Georgia Archives, 5800 Jonesboro Road, Morrow, GA, 30260.
